The story is all about a banker named Andy Dufresne who was arrested in the case of his wife’s death and Ellis Boyd, the fellow prisoner.

Produced by Albert S.Rudy and directed by Francis Ford Coppola, The God Father was released in 1972.The story was based on the novel under the same name written by Mario Puzo. Starring Al Pacino and Marlon Brando, The God Father won three Oscar awards in 1972. This film is considered as the greatest film in the world cinema. After the success of this film, there were two more sequel movies in a row Gold Father Part 2 and God Father Part 3.
